OhMyGoodness! Count 'em! 16 Great Spangled Frittilaries and ...

... one little friend, little Gray Hairstreak!

Pretend you're looking at the book, "Where's Waldo!"
You'll find 16 Great Spangled Fritillaries.  Look carefully!

I took this next photo from the otherside of the Butterfly Milkweed (Asclepias tuberosa)
Yes, they were flitting around from here-to-there, but there are STILL 16 back here, too! :-)

What a Wonderful Day!

Wish You'd Have Been Able to Join Us!

Happy "Field Trip" with Gardening Friends!
(I'm getting a haircut tomorrow!!)

and a Load of Plants!!!
Look at all those hostas!  They're not all mine, just the box in the forefront, the box with the heuchera and Ligularia 'The Rocket,' and the little green sack with two more hostas!

Great fun!!
I was sad to note 'The Rocket' didn't make it through the drought and/or winter.  So, it was a happy moment when I found a new plant today!  :-)  One of my friends and her husband are loyal and true "Big Red" fans.  The HAD to have 'Husker Red' Penstemon!

Not a shady spot in the day!  Well, maybe in my backyard.  LOL
