We've had our share of clouds and sprinkles, but very little in the way of actual rain... lots of threats and rumors from the weatherman, but nothing meaningful. Many new gardeners, with newly planted shrubs and trees, mistakenly relying on all these "rainy" days, while their plants are drying out from the bottom up... the deepest roots becoming dehydrated.<br /><br />By the way, let me wish you a belated "Happy Birthday!" Sounds like you had a fine day.
