Wordless Wednesday

(Well, you might find a couple of words!)
Our next door neighbors and I share the shade of some of the same trees! :-)
What are your favorites?
What are your favorites?
It was a delightfully drizzly day!
We had exactly the same kind of day today Shady Gardener and like at your place, everything is wet and lush and green. Your shade plants are doing marvelously. We'll all be thankful for the rain when it's 90 and sweltering out, won't we?
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so lush! I love the plant tag.
ReplyDeletePS - I have an award for you on my blog.
-Jackie
Rain! Beautiful, lovely, refreshing rain! That's what looks most delicious to me right now.
ReplyDelete(Yes, the flowers are beautiful too but we're reeling under temperatures that are way over the 100* mark, so I'm sure you'll understand why I'm ecstatic at the sight of rain)
Wonderful pictures with the rain drops decorating the flowers and leaves.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite is the clematis.
The rain drops on the flower petals make them even more beautiful. Your pictures are marvelous!
ReplyDeleteHi Shady! The garden blooms are wonderful and so fresh looking covered with rain drops. I wouldn't mind a spot of rain right now! Gail
ReplyDeleteIndeed a delightful drizzly day, Shady!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the plant tags...those are great! our place looks stunning! I will be back
ReplyDeleteGreat photos and I dearly loved the tour. I think I saw a Strawflower in that container, if so you are the only other person besides myslef that has posted one.
ReplyDeleteHi Kathleen, It's really nice again today. It's not raining, but it's overcast and cool. Perfect for working outdoors! :-)
ReplyDeleteJackie (EM), You could create your own variation of the tags! :-) And thank you for the award. I'm so very flattered!
Sunita, Thank you for visiting me today. I just peeked at your site and found the most lovely water lily photos, etc. If it's that hot where you are, I don't wonder that you're thinking about your water gardens! ;-)
Rosemary, I have no idea as to the name of the clematis, but isn't it Wonderful?? You must admit that this neighbor's garden is beautiful! :-)
Bobby, Thanks for the compliment! I'm such an amateur. And I use about the easiest little digital camera. However, it was quite an overcast day in the shade (!), and I'd turned off the flash. That challenge alone meant that I took MANY photos that didn't turn out! ha! (The lens stayed open fairly long and I'm just not steady for such a lengthy period!)
:-)
Oh it is so pretty! I love all of your flowers, but the clematis is amazing. I see you are up to "S" on your garden alphabet. I hope I can get going on that this summer, a great project for some rainy days.
ReplyDelete'Delightfully drizzly'! I shall say those words next time it drizzles here - it makes it sound nice and positive! I love the droplets of water on the flowers and foliage on the photos.
ReplyDeleteHi Catherine! Wish I could claim these flowers, as they belong to my neighbor. However, she's willing to let me enjoy them anytime! Yea! ;-)
ReplyDeletePhoenix, What a nice visit! I was outdoors with my umbrella. ;-) My "Macro" setting is a lot of fun.
What a pleasant visit. I love to walk in the rain. Visiting a garden in the rain is a bonus.
ReplyDeletebeautiful moist photos, impossible to say which are my favourites!
ReplyDeleteSpectacular, every one! Have you a new camera? ~Deb
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa, A bonus indeed! :-)
ReplyDeletecatmint, I have the same problem. ;-)
Deb, No new camera... it's just that mine excels with the macro lens. I would Love to have a camera with more than 3x magnification some day! :-) How are you doing with your camera these days???
