Happy Day! Happy Daylilies! ;-)

Hemerocallis
Try saying THAT 5 times really fast!
hemerocallis, hemerocallis, hemerocallis, hemerocallis, hemerocallis!

If I were gardening in a lot more sunlight, I'm positive I'd have a LOT more of these plants!!
Whenever I want a "fix," I head over to Gotta Garden! :-) Meanwhile, these are the daylilies that are currently blooming in my gardens.

Frontyard

An unknown tall, red variety

Close-up of unknown red

Unnamed bright yellow daylily with
'Rosy Returns' is in front (she was planted last Fall).
'Rosy Returns'
'Stella Supreme' in front of the house

This photo of "Happy Returns" was posted earlier,
but it was not labeled.
This cutie is in the center of the front yard.

Sunny Corner Bed
(also in the front yard)

Unnamed pale yellow - smallish blossoms

Unnamed double orange
(This lily Really resembles the single blossom
"ditch lily" as it spreads quite readily!)

'Siloam Dream Baby'

'Pardon Me'

Raised Beds

'Strawberry Candy'
unnamed variety

Also unnamed (tho' I ordered this alongside the Custard Candy!)

Woodland Walk

'Custard Candy'

Backyard

'Purple d'Oro'
'Summer Wine'
(close-up)

'Madonna'
'Pretty In Pink'

How did this fellow get here? This is my new Gaillardia 'Fanfare' planting!
You'll see him in the third photo... front and center.

Hope You're enjoying your Fourth of July! Perhaps that's why the gaillardia sneaked into this post? :-)

  5. Daylilies are so wonderful! You've reminded me - I must get over to the Wetlands Institute soon. Their many varieties of lilies must be in bloom now.

  7. MotherNature'sGarden, Thank you for visiting and I appreciate your compliments. :-)

I'm waiting for an upload of your site. I've taken to editing the size of my photos. I'm able to choose between "Documents" and "Web page" sizes. It takes so much less space on your blog, too.

Hi Rosey Pollen, Thank you for visiting. I'm ready to purchase turnips, due to your recipe! ;-)

Catherine, I'm at the point where I think perhaps I may not have enough room for any more... that's a hard pill to swallow! But, that's okay, too. :-) Thanks for your visit!

Karen, You may be looking for at least One more before long. There is certainly a variety from which to choose. :-)

Bobbie, Daylilies are one thing, but Water Lilies are quite another story! They're beautiful and YOU are fortunate to live near such a place. I hope you're able to get there before long!

Lisa, Talk about virtually care-free! And now that there are re-bloomers... ;-) Thanks for your visit today.

  8. Looking good! I think I might have to find room for Stella Supreme, I love that pale lemon color, it's so easy to combine with just about any other color.

Thank you for visiting today. I don't mean to make it hard for you to leave a message, but temporarily I am going to enable word verification. Too many spam messages to deal with lately. Thanks for your patience! SG
