Butterfly Kisses and Flutterby Good Wishes

I borrowed this photo of a Peacock Butterfly (isn't it beautiful)
after a Google Search for butterfly photographs.

Click on the photo to see what happens.

(Is anyone clicking on this photo? There's a great surprise here!)

Have a great day!
(I just ordered my new camera and it is "on the way!" Hopefully I'll be using it within a short period of time... and then I'll let you know what I have.) ;-)

Not shady... just excitedly secretive.

  3. marmee,
I'm sorry you've been short on butterflies. We may never have loads of them here, but we've had a nice variety so far.

Cameron, I don't know that I've ever had Lots and Lots of any type of butterfly here, but we've had several black swallowtails, giant swallowtails and red-spotted purples lately! Not as many Monarchs as I'd liked... my Butterfly milkweed and Butterfly Bush still have all their leaves. ;-)

  4. How pretty. I can't wait to see what camera you selected. I'm sure you'll take some great pictures with it and it will be good to catch up on your blooms/garden. The prairie photos are beautiful.

Hi Kerri, Thanks for visiting. It will be good to have a camera again. :-)

Hi Lisa, I didn't realize it was a European butterfly. It would be a wonder in "real life." ;-)

  16. Gail! I'm so excited, I can't stand it! I'm not a professional, so I didn't order something that would be that wonderful, but I ordered my favorite brand and something with 10x magnification! (Oh, Iamsoexcited!) ;-)

Hi Bobbie, Something I've been seeing here for the past 4 weeks are Red-Spotted Purples. They are so pretty. :-)

troutbirder, I will pass it on. Thanks!

Hi Catherine, It's the best I could do until I get my new camera. I'd taken photos of my Joe Pye Weeds with the other camera, so hope they're still blooming so I can try again! Yep! I'm excited. :-)

  17. Hi Shady Gardener. I did not click on your butterfly pic the first time around. I think I got sidetracked by the news of the new camera. What a fun card tho. I tell you, digital effects are amazing, aren't they?

  18. Hi Kathleen, That's alright. I had to laugh to think that people may have thought I was terribly serious about the butterfly photo (as beautiful as it is). ;-) I'm glad you returned to see the card. I thought it was cute. A friend sent it to me yesterday.

  19. I did click and was tickled to see my favorite e-card pop up! Thanks, Shady. I have actually sent that one along with many others. I have a large family and like to send them cards for special occasions. This is the best outfit I have seen. :-)
