We will again have a sister reunion.

  3. Hi Lisa, Sometimes it's hard to think that she's no longer "with us." But she has welcomed a friend who died a year ago mid-July.

Monica, Did you have brothers? Sisters could be wonderful and then, sometimes I wasn't the nicest sister...

  4. Sounds like from this and previous posts that you and your sister had a great bond. We're lucky when our sisters can also be such great friends.

  5. My daughters can be so mean to each other but I know someday they'll be the best of friends, as I am with my sister. Love your lily.

  7. Catherine, We had been having Sister Reunions early each Summer and had just had the 4th one before her death. After each of us raising our children and being unable to visit as often as we'd have liked, the reunions were a great opportunity to re-establish bonds.

Grace, I understand. Are they close in age? I'm not sure I know the name of the lily, but I really like it, too.

    Rosemary, Thanks.

  8. I don't remember if I've seen that movie. It was a cute video, and a nice tribute to your sister. My sister and I don't see each other much. We both seem to be too busy for each other. I see my brother a little more often, because he's a widower, and I sometimes spend time with his son who has autism.

I haven't been to the state parks in a long time. I need to take that time one of these days. I'm glad you got to spend time with your daughter and family.

  9. Sue, We can often get so busy, can't we?? The next time I'm in Omaha, I'll let you know! This last visit had a specific agenda. :-)

PS Thanks for joining me in my Bible Study! :-)

  14. Hi Kathleen. Thank you. I have a friend who, a year ago this past July, went to look up my sister. It is truly that Wonderful Hope that brightens the thought of living through the future. :-) Enjoy your day!

Thank you for visiting today. I don't mean to make it hard for you to leave a message, but temporarily I am going to enable word verification. Too many spam messages to deal with lately. Thanks for your patience! SG
