Ooh the Weather Outside is Frightful... but You Can Make it Snow on Your Blog!

But inside the snow's delightful!

What did I say??

I want to give you the information to place a snowfall wigit
on your blot. Just be patient, it will snow! ;-)

Click on this Link for the information!

(I also apologize to whomever provided this information earlier...
I found it on one of the blogs I visit, but forgot to note who it was.
Now I can't thank him/her!)

  1. But do I want it to snow on my blog? A couple of days ago I would have, but today, I'm not so sure. ;^) Thanks for the info!

  2. Hi, Shady!
It's snowing on my blog, too. I think I found the link over at Dunghoe... :)

  3. Yes, it's snowing on mine too. And I like it there. Just so it doesn't do it outside!

  4. Shady,
No snow here! It was Rosey Pollen that linked the snow. Hoping for good enough weather to build a deck we are starting tomorrow and it is huge!

  9. Ummm. Err. Well. Ahem Shady.... you really think we need more snow around here? Right now I'm dreading the thought of venturing out in the subzero cold to try and clear my driveway of about 15 inches of the stuff, not counting the height of the huge hard packed drifts. :(

  10. Yay, that was an easy effect to add. Had to change my colors, though, too, so the snowfall didn't look too autumnal!

  11. Hi Everyone... let's please commiserate with troutbirder! We have snow... but he has SNOW!

I was sure it was Rosey, too... but when I returned to her site (several times) I must have overlooked her directions!

    Have a great weekend! :-)

  13. Hi Liz, I think there are a lot of us that would be happy to ship these cold temps (high of 19 degrees F today)as well as Troutbirder's snow! ;-)

  14. After the last couple of days, when we had everything from rain, snow, sleet to icepellets, hail, fog and wind I think I'll avoid snow-widgets on my blog, Shady. I did see that somewhere too in the past couple of days, but I'm like you--can't remember where!
I answered the question about the rainbow-coloured beaded thing on my latest blog post, but just to let you know, it was a macro shot of this cool beaded Christmas ornament I have. I didn't make it, because I'm not crafty, alas.

  15. Jodi, Can you show the whole ornament sometime? It must be beautiful! :-) Thanks for stopping! I'm sorry about your weather... I will try not to complain about mine!!

  16. Thanks for the info! I've seen this on a couple of other blogs and thought it looked neat. We're still waiting for the real thing here, though.

Enjoyed all your photos of the birds--you certainly have a variety visiting you! And the snow! It certainly does add a magical touch to the garden. The snow seems to have fallen all around us, but passed us by in central Illinois.

  18. Hi Rose, How are you feeling about being bypassed at this point in time? ;-) Our temps have warmed a bit and there's a bit of melting going on. But it's still beautiful and white, out there. :-)

Hi Nancy, Thanks! This is a good one to play along in. :-)

  19. Hi Shady, thanks for the snow tip. In our part of the world the only snow we see at Christmas is either cotton wool or on a blog. cheers, catmint
