  2. Hi Rosemary! I've been out of town for a few days... and these fellows are doing even better, yet! :-) I believe it's only "Horrid" who's hanging back! ;-)

  4. Oh happy days !!
My, you have some nice house plants.
Think the Amaryllis is a great one for this time of year.

  5. I am really jealous, you have beautiful house plants. The downside of having indoor pets is that most of the house plants we can find are poisonous to animals. At least i can enjoy your pictures.

  8. Hi Roger. Sensuous? I'm not sure about that... Stubborn is more like it! :-)

    Darla, :-)

Thank you, Patsi. I've felt rather dejected since January. So many other peoples' amaryllis have been blooming... ha!

Hi Gail! It was my turn to tickle YOUR funny bone! ha.

Chad and Brandi, Don't be jealous. I think we just have a mutual admiration thing going on! ;-)

Hi Troutbirder. Won't it be fun if they all bloom????

Garden Ms. S, Thanks for visiting! :-)

  11. Hi Christine H, Thanks! ;-)

Monica, Hi! I've enjoyed a quick read through my new book (thank you so much!) Lots of goodies in there!

Hi Catherine, I hope so too! ha!

  13. No, no, no ~ don't put any amaryllis on the compost pile! Give them a chance. Some of mine didn't bloom this year ~ I'm blaming it on the weather last summer (they didn't grow enough leaves to feed the bulb) but I'm still saving them. Hopefully I can help them along more this year. It looks like you'll have some blooms soon ~ that's a good thing! :-)
Lovely hibiscus too. I hope your computer is okay.

  14. Hi Kathleen, I think I must have scared them silly, as they've all responded to my threat! ha. Even John Brown has a bud rising!! :-)

There's only one plant that probably will not bloom, as it is only showing leaves right now.

Hopefully my computer returns home before too long. I'll be posting!! :-) Always glad for your visit.

Thank you for visiting today. I don't mean to make it hard for you to leave a message, but temporarily I am going to enable word verification. Too many spam messages to deal with lately. Thanks for your patience! SG
