I take vicarious pleasure in watching the satisfactory growth of someone else's tree over time. The underplanting in the April photo looks lovely. Are the wildlife visiting the crabapple now that is has so many fruit?
Thank you for visiting today. I don't mean to make it hard for you to leave a message, but temporarily I am going to enable word verification. Too many spam messages to deal with lately. Thanks for your patience! SG
So nice to see the changes.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. I love to see the progression of skinny seedlings into fruit producing trees. :)
ReplyDeleteShady,
ReplyDeleteIt is confirmed that you DO have a green thumb! Wait til it is huge, then all those crab apples will be everywhere!

ReplyDeleteHi Gardener, Thank you for stopping in. :-)
ReplyDeleteKate, I agree - it's fun to watch the changes. It's especially fun when it's in your own yard!
Hi Randy! I'll watch for the butterflies landing on my rotting fruit! ;-)
Hi Northern Shady! They aren't stopping yet, but the fruit is definitely appreciated during late Winter!
Pretty cool to see a little twig grow up. With fall here now, I wonder how long before the birds realize dinner is served?
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely growth! The underplanting in bloom is a beautiful accent. :)
