Below, in 2008, it had 4 petals;

In 2010, it had 4 petals;Again, in 2011, it had 4 petals.
And in 2012?? We shall see! :-)

Nothing "shady" here - just me! ;-)
Love the gingerbread houses, trillium, and donut seeds.
ReplyDeletewell this is my first experience of scavenger hunt sunday. Interesting and very quirky. I find the trillium photos and info fascinating, not sure if it's got some sinister deeper meaning or not (lol), the cakes look very funny all laid out like that and makes me want to eat a wall or roof. Most importantly though, your grandchildren look happy and gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHi Monica! It's a gardener's challenge, is it not? Donut seeds? ;-)
ReplyDeleteIt's good to see you, Catmint! I've participated in this meme for several weeks now.. it's fun and a good challenge. :-)
I came over off the Scavenger Hunt. I have really enjoyed your posts and will be back to continue to follow! I invite you and your followers over tho my gardening blog where I am having a seed give away.

ReplyDeleteThank you, Clint. I've just signed up for your give-away. I wish I could create a post, just now, but I'm not at home...
ReplyDeleteHi Deanna, I'm glad you're enjoying your visits here. I just found out how to get rid of the new verification marker. I agree that it is "painful." :-)

ReplyDeleteHi Rosemary!
I'll be over, Rachael and Leah! :-)
Hi Shady,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed looking at your posts on the way to here. You had a nice assortment of subjects. I am glad I got to see your trilliums coming up. I am sad that the one a friend gave me last year doesn't appear to be coming up. I'll have to look again.
