A Snowy Day - February 4, 2012

The snow was heavy.  It was Wet.  The Flakes fell in "clumps." The snowfall didn't last very long and the snow didn't remain long on the ground!

But it was wonderful while it happened.  It was a reminder of "what is supposed to happen during Winter in Iowa!" 

I filled the bird feeders and everyone was happy!  :-)

PS  The snow is again gone.

    No snow here although we're scheduled to get slush tomorrow. My students and I are eager for a snow day. What a weird season it's been!

    Weird season, for sure. It's February and there's still occasion for lots of snow. Hopefully not when we're (or anyone else) is out "on the roads!"

    We got just the right amount. Couple of inches. Much more and I'd be complaining about having to shovel the stuff.... :)
