The purple asters in the right foreground are a mass of three plants. Cute little dianthus in front...
Lots of color. Good times!
I spotted a nice trelllis for the left side of the wooden fence this afternoon. I'll pick it up Saturday.
Next year there will be a couple more clematis.

It'll be wonderful to end this season, enter Winter and look forward to next Spring...
all in due time, of course! :-)
Best wishes to each of you, my gardening friends.

ReplyDeleteI understand. This little garden has helped me keep my sanity! Lol
ReplyDeleteShady lovely garden and a real show stopper with the aster..... reminds me to get an aster or 2 for my garden next spring.... I too am looking forward to putting my garden to bed for this season. Hoping next summer is a bit more pleasant re rain and mild temps.
ReplyDeleteOh Shady, it's lovely!
ReplyDeleteHi, Shady, I remember you posting some photos of this garden when your group first started on it. The end result looks so good! It's sure to put a smile on visitors' faces--great job!
ReplyDeleteHi Rosemary, Not only do I Really Favor asters, but I'm leaning towards somehow cutting back my gardening next year... I'll be seeking some input!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Liz! I'm very excited to see the garden develop next year, and the year after that. You know... sleep, creep and leap?
Rose, this garden has been the bright spot in my heart this year. So it's not only benefited the hospital patients. :-)
