    Pretty fungi too....Not sure which are mushrooms or toadstools?

  3. We've been battling wasps that have taken up residence under the back corner of our cabin. We destroyed an exposed nest and a hidden nest under the roof earlier, but they are pretty active this year. We are hoping they will die off before we return from a fall trip. I got stung once this year and boy does it hurt! - Margy

  4. This post reminds me so much of playing in the forest when I was a kid -- a forest that, sadly, is no longer there. I used to see so many of the same plants. Thank you for the beautiful and memory-evoking pictures!
