We've been battling wasps that have taken up residence under the back corner of our cabin. We destroyed an exposed nest and a hidden nest under the roof earlier, but they are pretty active this year. We are hoping they will die off before we return from a fall trip. I got stung once this year and boy does it hurt! - Margy

This post reminds me so much of playing in the forest when I was a kid -- a forest that, sadly, is no longer there. I used to see so many of the same plants. Thank you for the beautiful and memory-evoking pictures!
