I am certainely not a gardener but i love to photograph gardens ;-)
I do not realy have a favourite plant, i like all kinds....
The only one beginning with an i, wich i can think of is an iris.. wich you already mentioned ;-)
Those are some lovely irises! Yes, I am a gardener, and I have many favourite flowers.Iris is one of my favourites,but alas! they don't flower here.

Those blue ones are gorgeous. I'm no gardener but the wild ones growing by water are always a treat to see.

My favorite is the sweet pea. I can't think of any "i" flower but iris. :-)
