An Ode to March 4th

March Forth

And so we shall!

The sun is shining.
(o'er your way?)

Patches of green are showing
through snow today.

Birds are fluttering.
(Saw a robin, yesterday!)

And I am dreaming
Spring will soon stay.

March forth!

    Crocus & Scilla blooming - yay! Those Crocus look like my Princess Beatrix Crocuses; are they? I think I like this poem even more than the Frost poem you posted for Muse Day.

    MMD, I'm afraid I don't know what these crocus are. They are beautiful, though! Aren't we getting anxious to see them again soon???

    Hey! Where's your snow and ice? You are such a lucky girl to be witnessing spring in action. I have a bit of waiting time left unfortunately. Thank you for posting pictures of your lovely crocuses. Seeing your spring blooms gives me hope that I'll see mine soon too.

    Our snow is nearly all gone. But it remains cold here. Unfortunately (?) these are last year's blossoms, but I know where they hide and I'm watching for them every day! ;-)
