Hi Rosey, The 8 amaryllis bulbs that have been shirking their responsibility for keeping me happy in the Winter are now in various stages of bloom. This is the first. ;-) (It was the threat of being thrown into the compost pile that probably got them going!) ha.
So pretty !! Just reminds me of how many flowers I'd love to have but don't. Temps here have been crazy...60 one day then 85 the next...should be normal soon.
Thank you for visiting today. I don't mean to make it hard for you to leave a message, but temporarily I am going to enable word verification. Too many spam messages to deal with lately. Thanks for your patience! SG
What luscious red blooms, love these!

ReplyDeleteHow lovely. Think I will have to threaten my amaryllis , not a bloom.

Wonderful bloom. The one we have is pretty much a stump at this point.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your banner pic!
ReplyDeleteHi Rosemary! :-) I believe MY threats worked! ha!
ReplyDeletePatsi, It's early Spring yet. However, don't you think we'll be able to count on better weather hanging around before long?? :-)
Chad and Brandi - Threaten it! I'm sure it worked with my bulbs! ha.
Dirty Girl Gardening, Thanks. The plants are now blooming... really sweet flowers.
Reminiscent of stained glass with the sun shining through. Love it.
