Happy "Field Trip" with Gardening Friends!
(I'm getting a haircut tomorrow!!)
and a Load of Plants!!!
Look at all those hostas! They're not all mine, just the box in the forefront, the box with the heuchera and Ligularia 'The Rocket,' and the little green sack with two more hostas!
Great fun!!
I was sad to note 'The Rocket' didn't make it through the drought and/or winter. So, it was a happy moment when I found a new plant today! :-) One of my friends and her husband are loyal and true "Big Red" fans. The HAD to have 'Husker Red' Penstemon!
Not a shady spot in the day! Well, maybe in my backyard. LOL
Wish I could have come... plant choices look great.
ReplyDeleteAlways fun to find new plants with old friends.
ReplyDeleteA fun day, I'm sure. On Wed. here, the local garden club visited my shady wildflower gardens and as usual I embarrased myself by failure to remember the answer to several "now what is that plant" questions... :)
ReplyDeleteFriends + gardening is always fun!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a fun plant shopping trip. I bet those hostas were happy to go home with you, "Yeah, we get to live in a little woodland."
ReplyDeleteAlthough the vast majority of my plants made it thorough the winter, I have to pick up a couple of replacements, too. And then there is the new bed expansion...
