What a wonderful progression—beautiful flower.
ReplyDeleteOur church handed out paper white bulbs to everyone and I've been watching the progression of our bulbs at home and the ones at church.
I'm sorry I've waited so long to take photos—must start now.
Love the flower and the day by day photos.
ReplyDeleteThose flowers are like Jack and the Beanstalk! We have had several over the years and they never cease to amaze me. The last one we had after it finished blooming we just set it out in the bushes near the little (very little) waterfall we had. After about two years we happened to notice buds coming up and it has flowered with enormous flowers for several years since then. (We live in a frost free zone.)
ReplyDeleteLovely
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely development!

Thank you for your visit, Lea. :-)
ReplyDeleteRoger, Thank you for your dedication to this meme. It's always nice to have you visit.
troutbirder, Is this an amaryllis you've held over? Or is this a new one? I'm definitely NOT the one to talk to in getting them "timed" to bloom at a particular date. ha.
Thanks for your visit, Gattina!
Hi Lezlie, I appreciate your visit.
Linda, Thank you for leaving your comment. I really love paperwhites, but not everyone can "condone" their sweet scent!
Photowannabe, I know what you mean.
Chris J, I can only imagine how they might be growing and blooming in a yard!! :-) Lucky you!
Hi Rosemary!!
Rose, Thank you for your visit!
It's fun seeing huge changes like that, especially over such a short period of time. Lovely!
