Kiss me once,
(Dutchman's Breeches)
then kiss me twice
(Trout Lily)
Then kiss me once again.
(Snowdrop)
It's been a long, long time.
(pink grape hyacinth)
Haven't felt like this, my dear
(tiarella)
Since I can't remember when.
(bloodroot)
It's been a long, long time
(scilla - Siberian Squill)
You'll never know how many dreams I've dreamed about you.
(Heartleaf Brunnera)
Or just how empty they all seemed without you.
(Virginia Bluebells)
So kiss me once,
(pulmonaria)
then kiss me twice
(bergenia)
Then kiss me once again.
(pasque flower)
It's been a long, long time.
(Prairie Smoke)And I'm just patiently waiting for Spring's arrival...

A wonderfully fun post. The flowers are beautiful and the song brings back dozens of memories.
ReplyDeleteI skipped the small print in the beginning and was beginning to get jealous of your flowers :) Then I went back and read that these pictures were not taken this year. I do the same thing with directions. Try to put something together and then go back and read what I should've done the first time.
ReplyDeleteHopefully it won't be long until you see those flowers blooming in your garden.
