  2. It's about time. I like how you showed the temps for all week. Good idea for your blog. Someday I will try this when it is super cold. It will scare everyone away from Colorado probably.

  3. And not a moment too soon. It's 18F here right now, which feels a heck of a lot colder than 18F did in January. I want to plant pansies!

  4. troutbirder - amen.

Rosey! Scare people away from Colorado? (Even ME, if I were to come visit?) ;-)

MMD, Understood! But I'm going outdoors shortly to do a little raking, even though... (Did you see the post on our recent trip to your area of the country? Right sidebar)

Rosemary, I'm SURE you are. :-)

  5. Our overnight temps have been 19F for the last few days. BLERG! This is the absolute WORST time of year to look at blogs from people in warmer zones (which for me is pretty much everyone else!).

  7. Hey, Shady! Thanks for stopping by my blog! Yes, indeedy, even here in Wisconsin, it's budding tentatively (the trees seem to have an innate sense they may be betrayed by one last blizzard!).

My mom was from Council Bluffs... thought you'd get a kick out of that. Thx for the forecast! Amy Barlow Liberatore

  9. Um, the 67 leaves me drooling. It will be a while before we get there. But the grass is greening up, so it feels more like spring. Enjoy your warm weather to come!

  10. Hi Shady, What a good idea to give the temperature over a week. It continually fascinates me how diverse our gardening climates are - and it is definitely worth the effort to translate fahrenheit into centigrade (Wow - just realized your 34 is our -1.5. That's as cold as it ever gets here) happy spring gardening, cm

Hi Catmint, Thanks for making the conversion. Yes - it's been cold all week, though yesterday afternoon it was warm enough to rake a few leaves from the lawn! My! That felt good! :-)

Thank you for visiting today. I don't mean to make it hard for you to leave a message, but temporarily I am going to enable word verification. Too many spam messages to deal with lately. Thanks for your patience! SG
