Wordless Wednesday

(Scroll down a couple of posts, and back up to compare)

Almost wordless: I moved the far right amaryllis (top photo) from the guest bedroom to where it could enjoy the company of the other girls. :-)

Hi Shady,
Just keep those amaryllis reminders coming and one of these days I'll bring mine up! Glad you're having fun with them...

Hi Shady, Would you believe my amaryllis just finished blooming? It must have been two straight months. They are quite amazing plants.

Oh, goody! I thought I had run out of blogs that are growing Amaryllis! I just love them and didn't grow any this year, so I've been enjoying watching everybody else's!

Happy anticipation :)
I have 2 more coming as well. They'll help us through this final stage of the seemingly never-ending winter.
More rain here overnight and this morning.

They sure are getting big. Maybe next week they'll have flowers?

Will they bloom for easter?

Yeah! My amaryllis is now fully open, with three flowers each on two buds. :)) (that's a smiley with a double chin!)

IVG, Yes, the amaryllis are fun now that they've begun growing (with a little help!) ;-)

Grace, I agree. They are amazing plants. Did you post on yours?

Tessa, Thanks for visiting me today. I see you grow nearly everything else! :-)

Hi Kerri, Once the nice weather decides to stay (give me a month or so), I'll have a lot of raking to do!!

Catherine, I think they grow amazingly quickly. I looked for buds on the two largest, but none so far. Maybe next Wednesday? ;-)

troutbirder, I have no idea. I think these little fellows have a mind of their own. ha.

Monica, I'll join your cheer! Will you post them?

Keep the amaryllis photos coming Shady Gardener! Soon there will be flowers. I have two more bloom stalks coming also (that are new to me ~ I bought them on clearance) so I'm still excited about amaryllis too!

Kathleen, :-) Thanks for the encouragement. It's the best I can do until it's really Spring!

Gail, Hey there. How are things going at C&L?

Blossom, yea! (You'll see them if it happens!)

Randy, (... ;-)...)

Perennialgardener, I guess so! Meanwhile, I see more evidence of Spring, by your recent posts!

Looking good. You will have lots of flowers soon. We have one that we kept after Christmas. The flowers have fallen off, but the leaves don't seem to stop growing.

I love amaryllis too, and have two of them indoors. Yours look like they are on their way to blooming soon.
Mine both still have their long green leaves.

Chad and Brandy, The leaves will continue growing and feeding the bulb, especially if you keep the plant outdoors in a partly shady/shady area, and keep it watered.

Terra, I hope mine bloom soon. They seem to have a "mind of their own." ;-)
