The Grow Project - June Update

Yep! I took the challenge. Right alongside a whole lot of other garden bloggers!

"I'm growing Nasturtium "Spitfire" for the Grow project. Thanks, to Renee's Garden for the seeds."I received free Nasturtium seeds for the Grow Project. Please click on the link above to see and compare the results of the other gardeners.

These are my previous postings:
Third batch of seedlings begun in newspaper pots.

Green Thumb Sunday - June 27, 2010

I've barely begun a Garden Tour post (from last Sunday's tour). We've so enjoyed this busy week, as we "hosted" the visit of two grandchildren from out-of-town. Here's one taking a peek at Susan-scare-the-birds.

And a peek from behind! :-)

In the top photo you're seeing Obedient Plant (right side) and 'Strawberry Candy' daylily on the left. 'Custard Candy' is peeking out from behind - way out in the Woodland Walk. :-)

V and W - ABC Meme

VERVE
(Miriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary - 2a: the spirit and enthusiasm animating artistic composition or performance)

Gooseneck Loosestrife
(demonstrating either Verve or Nerve)
lol

Wonky

(Miriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary: 1. Brit: Unsteady, shaky
)

This little retaining wall/collection of oddities including recycled chunks of sidewalk does its job, looks rather quaint (if you will), but don't try walking on it without knowing that it's precipitous (and Wonky)!!

Trying hard to keep up with this meme.
