Been there and found it sooo different from home. Love the landscape and the rare blooms you find along the way.

We just returned on Tuesday from Arizona as well! I wasn't as brave as you to venture on a hike, but I do have a few photos very similar to yours. Isn't the Arizona landscape so very different from the Midwest? And warmer, too:) I enjoyed seeing so many blooms in AZ this time; looking forward to seeing more of your photos.

Bobbie, I hope to do another post asap! It's fun to go through the pictures - great memories!

Monica, Easter Blessings to you!! We had a wonderful time. The desert received rain a month or so ago, so things were blooming. However, I'm told it won't last too much longer.

Patsi, It was amazing to see flowers that "looked familiar" in that there were things that reminded me of home. But upon closer inspection, quite different. However I spotted our same daisy fleabane quite often. Who'd have thought!? ha.

Rose, It was so nice and warm. I loved the blue skies!! There were a couple of cirrus clouds, once. :-) Did you have a great time? We did, but I'm also very glad to be home! I raked a lot today!

Gail, you really would love the flowers. I'm told that the best show was about two weeks prior to our arrival. But, I was completely satisfied with what we experienced! :-)

Catherine, It was mid-80's to 100 degrees F (last Tuesday). But it cools down so nicely during the night that we started out the day with sweaters. Our Spring is nearing perfection, too, however! :-)

You must have had a wonderful time in Arizona. My neighbour was there for 10 days and regaled me with stories of everything she saw. I am in total envy! The cactus bloom is lovely.

Kate, It is astounding to find yourself in a place 360 degrees to the opposite of where you live. The weather was beautiful, we had such enjoyable times and I'm glad to be home in my 4 season environment. ha.
(You'd love the visit, too!)
