Another Pause in the Progression of Life's Adventures...

... hopefully not Misadventures! :-)
(Mallow)

We will be traveling for a couple of days' trip to Northern Iowa.
We will visit stay with my Aunt MEA (!),
visit my parents,
our daughter, son-in-law and their family,
celebrate Grandson L's 6th birthday,
A huge family reunion,
My parents' 62nd wedding anniversary,
and my first cousin's wedding.

Is that enough??

We will also bring our newly turned 6-year-old grandson home with us for a couple of days!
Yea!
:-)

SG~~ I hope your trip leaves you a little time to put your feet up. :)
And perhaps to photograph a few gardens. Have fun.

Hi Grace, I understand completely. I'm sure there will be restful moments (after the weekend).
I'm trying not to thinking about how far behind I am in maintaining my gardens and how I won't be getting at it for another week or so. Hmmmm. It will work out. It always does. :-)

Six is a great age--have fun with your grandson. It's funny I never noticed before how malva petals are heart-shaped. I'm going outside right now to give mine a closer look. (Well, right after I put on pants, that is!)

Have a wonderful time, SG. Can't beat those cute grandson's ... I have 2 (6 & 7). We're here with us last eve and off to join us at the lake this weekend. Good stuff!

Whew, you've been a traveling girl lately and it won't slow down this time when you get home (not if you're bringing a six year old home!!). Enjoy your trip and we'll see you whenever you can post.

You've been so busy this summer. Have a great time partying in Northern Iowa!

Hi Gail, Thanks. :-)

Monica, I'd advise that! ha! :-) It is a pretty close-up, isn't it?

Troutbirder, I'm sorry I haven't been to visit lately. There just are NOT enough hours in the day!

Joey, I'm so excited. I was on the phone with his Mommy (my daughter) when she mentioned a friend of hers and her children had recently been studying toads, made a toad house, etc. and couldn't locate a toad. (I found a nice sized one and will take it with me and she can take it to her friend. I also found a tiny one that they can keep for awhile until they make a toad house, too!) ;-)

Kathleen, I know. I'm getting winded myself! ;-) Life is good... wouldn't you like to hop over and help me with my weeding??

MMD, It's all good. And we Have to get a trip planned for Chicago sometime this Summer and/or Fall!!
