Gail, I can hardly believe it myself. However, as you might notice there's still a lot of green on this bush! Most of the others have not yet begun to turn...
Deborah, I must warn you about the Burning Bush. As beautiful as it can be, it's also rather a pest. If you look closely at the photo, you might be able to see the Million or so seeds that will be trying to grow this next Spring!
Hi MMD, Usually so. It's only the top of the bush that's begun to turn... but it surely seems early for me this year!
Hi Darla, I'm wondering when you really DO have signs of Autumn in Florida??
Hello, Frances. :-)
Phoenix, I'm not sure I'm ready...
Monica, Good! The rest of mine are still pretty green, too. But these couple of bushes have begun to turn. I think it's a conspiracy! ;-)
Chad and Brandy, They do offer great fall color. I'm tempted to throw a tarp under the bushes, though. I spend a LOT of time pulling seedlings in the Spring. ;-)
Beautiful!! My burning bush is still green, but will probably change very soon. I absolutely love the colour it turns. Lovely picture, and I like the concept of Wordless Wednesday. :)
I have 4 burning bushes, and wish they had a million seedlings (I think I've only found 2 so far). But it's fun that each one changes colour at a different time, depending on garden placement, likely the prevailing winds (the one near a high wall is still green). They are great, but grow so big so fast!

Gorgeous!!! Must have!
That really looks autumnal. My Burning Bush is always one of the last things to turn.
Not too many signs of fall just yet in Florida...lovely burning bush.
Love the deep rich colors of fall. No words needed. :-)
Frances
Love those colours!
Mine is still green, still green, still green...
Soon it will be the bell of the ball. They offer great fall color. Hard to believe it is almost that time.

I love your fall shot of the burning bush. Great choice for wordless wed.
Rosye
Fall is definitely on it's way! I love all the color on that one plant, very pretty.
And the evenings are drawing in..... will soon be time to start sweeping up the leaves here. Lovely pic!
I've got a few that starting turning in JULY! The others are just starting now. Fall is definitely on the way.
You need to check my today's post. ;-)
Hi Rosey, Did you notice all the little seedy berries?? ;-)
Catherine, It is running the gamut, isn't it? ha.
Lottie - Oh, yes. Falling leaves...
Kylee, Thanks... I think. ;-) Your poll was a cute idea.
:-) so pretty!
Hi Rosemary... are you ready for Fall?
I am just starting to accept and am trying to get myself to enjoy the changing of the seasons.
Your burning bush sure is gorgeous!

Hi Sue, This one is especially right now. The others will follow soon... guess that's a great way to prolong the color! :-)
In the Garden... It will change soon. (I'm having trouble believing we're in the thick of September!) I like WW also. Life is busy these days!
