I brought two crown of thorn hybrids (a red and a pink) from Thailand into the house for the winter... they normally reside in my hyper-tuffa gardens. They have bloomed nonstop all winter in a north window. I like them because they have extremely large blooms. The nurseryman who imported them said they were cheap but getting them through customs turned out to be very expensive... definitely a good house plant as well as summered outside. Larry
Thank you for stopping in! We DID have a sweet Easter - We spent it with part of our family and had a wonderful weekend. I enjoy visiting our daughter's Church. Plenty of chocolate/candy(!). Lots of hugs. :-)
Happy Easter (belatedly) to you too Shady Gardener! Hope it was good. Hey what color is the foliage on the Virginia bluebells you gave me?? I have purplish growth pushing up in the area where I think I planted them ~ could that be them?? I sure hope so!!!
Kathleen, I believe your Virginia Bluebells are growing!! Oh! Please let me know. :-) They often begin purplish (depending upon the amount of sun they're receiving) and then turn green... round leaflets.
omg ~ I can hardly stand it. I think it's so!! The bigger leaves are turning greenish and they are round. Yay!! I'm so happy ~ it will be my first time having them in any garden! :-) I'll keep you posted. Thanks for the info.

A perfect plant for Easter! Hope you had a wonderful day, Shady.
Enjoyed your Muse Day poem--April is one of my favorite months with all the promise of spring it holds.
I hope you had a really nice Easter! My girls lucked out and got to go on two egg hunts, now they have lots of candy to share with me :)
