ABC Wednesday - Q is for Ssshhh!

Quiet (!)

As Elmer Fudd would say, "Be vewy, vewy Quiet. I'm hunting wabbits."
(youtube video)

At least he's hunting wabbits and not my wittle fox!

:-)

Wonder what your wittle fox is hunting? He's precious.

Hi NellJean, As I rounded the corner of the house yesterday, I heard a little rustling noise. And there was the sweet little fox. I spoke to him and he didn't run, so I continued walking around the house to get the camera. (And some tools.) He'd just laid back down in the sunshine to snooze.

Hi Rosemary, I hope I see him again! He was definitely a cutie! :-)

Ah, what a cutie pie. Your wittle fox is adorable. :))

Hi Kate! I even visited with him a little, and he didn't run away! ;-)

So beautiful, great photos. :)

That is the best kind of visitor for your garden. I hope it comes back a lot to hunt rabbits etc.
Adorable!

Hi Rebecca, Can you believe I drilled and hung three birdhouses and planted garden seeds only 40 feet away? ha!

Thanks Sue... I continue to keep a watchful eye!

Rosey, I hope he decides he likes it enough to stay, as well. He could definitely take care of those bulb-eating chipmunks!!

You seem to have a great sense of blogging humor. Thanks for the visit and, yes, I'm enjoying the ABC Wednesday by going through the streets in our community. You should try it! It takes to places you never dreamed!

Check out GDP on Thursday. I'm not very humorous, usually, but I try tomorrow!

How great he isn't frightened of you? He must realize you mean him no harm. I've actually been seeing a fox around my garden lately. Three sightings in the last month when I'd only ever seen one before. We have a lot of rabbits in the neighborhood so maybe he found some easy food??

I like Quiet.

Did get your comment in my e-mail but that post vanished.

Lovely to see your little Fox Shady. They used to visit my garden but I haven't seen any sign of them for a while now.

I also enjoyed your 'Tulip Time' post. Everything looked so colourful and the colours of the Tulips themselves were breathtaking!

I was intrigued by the street sweeping, what was the significance of that?

It sounded like you had a very enjoyable day and I hope it helped to distract you a little at this difficult time Shady.

Oh cuuuuuuute!!!!

Shady Gardener said...

Hi Patsi, I wonder what that was about?

Hi Shy, I don't see the fox(es) often, either. Tulip Time is an annual occurrence in Pella. I assume the street sweeping is a "throwback" to long-ago customs.

Hi Ginger, Thanks. :-)

I like the photos of you playing peek a boo with the fluffy fox under the trees, especially the last one, with his perky ears.

Shady Gardener said...

Hi Northern. Thanks for your visit - you'd have enjoyed peeking at him, too! ;-)

Greensboro Jan, I cannot believe I missed your comment (and that of the next two people). However, I've not been home again lately, so I will not say "hi!" Thanks for your visit and I will pop over to see you, now. :-)

Hi Chubskulit, Thanks for visiting. :-)

Hi Kathleen, Isn't it funny that you're seeing a fox, too? Perhaps he IS getting your rabbits. I'm thinking (hoping) mine is getting the chipmunks that like to dig and eat tulip bulbs, etc.,, etc.! ha.
