I took this photo this past Tuesday morning after having received rain all night (and freezing to create a nice, thick coat of ice)! It was 7:04 a.m. and the light is a neighbor's outdoor "night light."
Thought you might enjoy it as much as I did.
If you click on the photo to enlarge it, it will be blurry. I had the camera resting against the glass in the door, so it's not the camera's fault. It happened that it was still raining and I could even detect the shimmer while I gazed outdoors.

That happened here the other day. While it was beautiful the look at it was dangerous to be out in. I spent the night awake wondering when one of those skidding cars was going to crash into a family member's car.
I can well imagine. (It's also not fun walking out there, either!)
Thanks for stopping.
I have a photo I must post! The amaryllis bulb I had outdoors this summer grew very large. I brought it indoors at the end of October and set it in the basement storage room. I brought it upstairs last week. (The pot hadn't even dried out, yet!) It hadn't started to grow, but... I wonder if I rushed things. Let me know what you think. I'll post the photo late tonight.
What lovely colors! Why does bad weather make for such good pictures?
wow...what a beautiful picture out of such crummy weather...It's a relaxing "latte" by the window under a blanket with a good book type picture.
Did I tell you I keep buying that latte mix? it's my treat at work ... decaf of course, but oh so yummy!
