This is just a recent photo of my
kitchen windowsill African Violet. It's all I found that was blooming, after returning home today. (I visited my daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren in Omaha this weekend!)

Cobalt blue...but this morning it's reddish pink of a red sky in morning!
Thank you for asking! What's yours?
Gail
My favorite flower color is magenta, but lavender would be everywhere if I could find enough deep purple as a companion!
Cameron
I really like the poem about color. My favorite color is probably red but I bounce all around the color wheel when it comes to favorite colors.
Love the poem! (And the violet.)
Pretty violet Shady Gardener ~ in my favorite color ~ PINK! Wondering like Gail, what yours is??
What a gorgeous little plant with lots of color to greet you when you came home. Right now, that's my favorite color. Tomorrow it will be something different:)
Gail, When I think of your cobalt blue, I remember that beautiful salvia you have (that I hope to get next year!) ;-)
P.S. My favorite color? It varies with my mood in what I'm wearing, my most recently painted rooms, with what's blooming in the garden... and of course Springtime Green in the out-of-doors! ha. :-)
Cameron, You've picked a beautifully warm color family!!
Lisa, I'm with you... see my P.S. above. ;-)
Hi Deb!!
Kathleen, Pink is a beautiful color, isn't it? Especially on such a pretty flower. (See my P.S. above!) ha.
flydragon, You're right. I understand completely about the color of the day! :-)
BTW: I should be more serious, shouldn't I? I think my favorite color might be red, or anything in that family. But I'm also very drawn to the restful, cool colors, too.
I'd be happy to have that Violet blooming in my house. It looks so healthy & happy.
My favorite color also depends on my mood, but it's usually a toss up between teal/aqua and violet purple. Good thing they go well together.
MMD, :-) Have you determined your signature plant?
I love the poem, an, no, you should definitely not be more serious. I never think I like red or pink flowers, but I can think up so many exceptions, that's just not true. I like all colors, really. For flowers, I'm especially fond of dark flowers or foliage. There's definitely not one color or plant I identify with, but my totem animal is undoubtedly the squirrel. :)
Monica
Monica, hi!
I really don't like red flowers very well, except for the dark red daylily I have. (I just like to WEAR red!) ;-) I do like pink flowers because they fit in with so many others... And I am in love with the toads and frogs! ha.
