Happy Valentine's Day!

I must admit, three valentine posts may be a "bit much," but I liked all these poems and couldn't decide on just one! :-)
Conversation Hearts

In February, bring them home,
pink, yellow, lavender
and lime pastels
BE MINE I'M YOURS
to be read by the tongue
that licks the chalk
and tastes what it spells.

I'll give you a boxful,
tasting of daphne, lupine,
mint and columbine;
a mouthful of secrets,
lovelier than whispers,
dear ones, friends
I'M YOURS BE MINE

by Nina Payne

Maybe these flowers don't quite match the poem, but don't they get you ready for those early, early Spring bouquets?
(This bouquet was created in May 2008) :-)
Happy Valentine's Day!
(The end)

No such thing as too many posts on any topic, 'Shady'. I love the simple charm of that bouquet--delicate and heartfelt. Hope it's been a lovely day for you and yours.

I agree with Jodi ~ you can't have too many posts/poems on a subject. I can see why you couldn't choose just one! Pretty bouquet ~ so delicate looking.

It snowed here again, but a nice couple of inches that lay so nicely on the branches of trees and shrubs. Two of my single gal-pal friends and I went out to lunch and then for a stroll through two antique malls. :)

Rosemary, Thanks! I'm excited to see them, too! (I've learned to bring them indoors way before the end of October!) ;-)

Kathleen, I can see that YOU would really like such a little bouquet. (I did, too!) ;-) It was just beautiful.

Monica, What a fun day you had!!
