Let Us Go Gladly Into October

May we remember
with gladdened hearts,
moments of beauty -
awe and/or mirth.

In anticipation
with respectful pause,
moments ahead seem
open and gracious.

May we be ready
with confident glances,
moments away are
beckoning welcome.

In acceptance
and graceful movement,
a season enters
beautifully timed.

'tis now
October.

You do have a way with words, but I, like kathleen, will not go willingly.

Kathleen and flydragon,

I know, I know. I'm not going willingly or gladly, either... but I am trying to convince myself that it's time! ;-)

Thanks, Deb. I look forward to enjoying October soon! ;-) Just one ore two more things to do outdoors (besides plant a few bulbs).
