Green Thumb Sunday

Hi all! I may have missed Garden Blogger's Bloom Day, but I'm ready to roll with Green Thumb Sunday... and this is what's "blooming out back!" Forgive me, but the first couple are just Fall Photos - please click to enlarge most of these photos. And you'll find a few foliage shots, also.

I did, however, forget to photograph 'Blue Wonder' tricyrtis... which has grown terrifically and has been blooming like crazy forever! I'll post it very soon.

Here we have an infamous Burning Bush next to a Rhododendron and the Gooseneck Loosestrife in the bottom left corner... and a closeup of the Rhody. ; -) And that's all the comment you'll get today.

Visit As the Garden Grows to join this meme. The instructions are here. When you finish, click here to add a comment if you decide to post this month!

This last photo is 'Red October' hosta that began blooming in September and continues! :-)

Your garden is still flowering beautifully.........

Rosemary... it's only the pictures. There really isn't that much out there anymore. But what is left is very nice! :-) And it's another nice sunny day today!

Lots of nice color in your garden.

Hi Lisa! I've seen lots of great Fall color on so many blogs, lately! How are things over your way??

Very nice fall colors. I do like those Burning Bushes and that Autumn (?) Sedum. I hate that when I can't think of the name of something. :(

Troutbirder, Burning bushes are beautiful... but watch out if you plant one. They have millions of seedlings! I'm not sure of the sedum's name... Your guess is as good as mine! :-)

I like Green Thumb Sunday and yours is wonderful. That darn Burning Bush is so pretty! It does pop up in my garden and even cutting it done can't stop it from resprouting! gail

Gail, Thanks! I hope I have time to post about Blue Wonder tricyrtis. You'd really like it! :-)

The Burning Bush looks lovely - why is it infamous?

I like the Trail pictures too.

Hi Phoenix C, I didn't mean to be pokey about my reply here. My Burning Bush seems to have been in several of my posts, lately. And it does have a little bit of an "invasive" reputation... guess both reasons add to make it "infamous" in my mind. ;-)

I'm glad you're enjoying the trail photos! I need to take my camera on the new part of the trail, should it be sunny and beautiful again soon. (It's raining today.)
