Very colorful Shady Gardener!! Someone will be thrilled to receive it. I wish I could knit, I thought Kathryn had a great idea but no one would want what I came up with!! You're so kind to participate.
Gail, I learned to knit from a "Grandma-friend" when I was in 9th grade. I've knitted off and on, ever since. If you lived just a little closer, I'd teach you to "purl!" ;-)
Hi Shady, what an accomplished knitter you are, that is an exquisite work of art. I can barely knit and always lose the count, my work is terrible and it always gets ripped out. I like to do it, but the finished product is unusable. I use the same yarn over and over just to pass the time. Now with blogging, no knitting for me probably this winter. Frances

Kathleen, I couldn't resist. :-) Did you see the beginner efforts of some of the scarf-makers? ;-)
Shady...you can really knit! A very fine scarf and a young girl will love it!
I know one stitch! Knit! I thought the scarf initiative was a wonderful idea.

Frances, I know what you mean about blogging taking a lot of time. I try to limit myself, as I do want to knit a few small projects this Winter. :-)
