Challenge: Countdown to Christmas! - P

Peonies
This fern-leaf peony was given me by my Aunt MEA.
This photo was taken during the Spring 2009.
(I completely neglected to get a photo this year!)

This poor-quality photo below was taken May 5, 2010 on a rainy day.  I used my umbrella to keep my camera dry!  However, this plant has flourished . . .even in quite a shady spot.  It went on to bloom several times - each of which missed being photographed.

This is 'Sarah Bernhardt.'

Pulmonaria
May 5, 2011 was a Rainy Day.
I walked around the yard with my umbrella and took the following photos!

'Trevi Fountain' (foreground)
'Baby Blue' (background)

'Bubble Gum'

'E. B. Anderson'

 'Majeste'

 'Milky  Way'

(I have others, but didn't get their photos...)

Pasque
(same rainy day - May 5, 2011)

'Rubra' Red (obviously taken on a dry day!)

Prairie Smoke - Geum triflorum
taken May 8, 2011

The photo below was taken during the Spring 2010.

There are many beautiful plants and flowers that begin with P.  Do you have favorites?

Counting down and Writing Christmas cards right now.  :-)
ENJOY the season and its reason!

Lovely photos - my favourite "p" flower is probably peony, poinsettia, poppies ... oh dear, I can't choose just one :)
