The I's of March?
I have an idea...
that you might like to see some of my Spring-time happenings!
So we're going to play "I Spy!"
I spy with my little
tulips
future
surprise lilies
surprise lilies
lots of daffodils, etc.
daffodils in sedum
I spy with my little
daffs - ready to bloom!
Hellebores
This hellebore is
Brushstrokes -
a first blossom for
this 2-year-old plant!
dwarf iris
I spy with my little
a bitty crocus in the grass!
We are in March! Hope you enjoyed the "I's (eyes) of March!" ;-)
Forecast? A little mix of snow and rain by Saturday. That's normal.
It won't last long!

It's the Ides of March on the nose today. Well, yesterday, when you posted. :-)
Sweet bit of colour making their way through the oak leaves.
Any day now they will all sprout forth. Enough for a bouquet.

I'm going to have to look into the dwarf irises, they would look great mixed with the daffodils!

I think the most exciting flower is the first one to appear on a new plant. How exciting to have a bloom on your Hellebore :-)

Dave, these are so cute! In my zone, most of them bloom before the earliest daffodils... but not all of them! You would enjoy them.
Cameron, Isn't that a beautiful blue? I have a few others that should be blooming within a couple of weeks that are completely different, but just as beautiful.

Rebecca, You are so right... it's a RELIEF :-) This past Winter has seemed very long and cold. It was beautiful, but now we're ready for Spring and are THANKFUL!

Noelle, The day before these photos were taken, there were two very tiny crocus in the lawn. One teeny yellow one and one teeny light blue one. I was so excited! (I know what you mean!)

I love the lone crocus among the leaves in your header photo! It is just a perfect picture of spring - sort of wintery, sort of hopeful, very much makes me pull for the lone crocus! Looks like great things are about to happen in your garden.

Gotta Garden, Thanks for your visit! Today was another beautiful day, and I was unable (!) to get outdoors and walk around. I need to do a bit of quick leaf coverage on many plants in anticipation of freezing temps and snow this weekend.

I love the little glimpses of crocus, iris and hellebore flowers. The buds of hellebores are especially pretty. Is brushstroke going to be a red colour when it opens?

Chad and Brandy, Absolutely! It is still a possibility, but it wouldn't last long if it comes again. Love the high temps we're recieving right now (50's). I cannot believe all the things that are growing!! :-)
